Satan plants seeds in the form of thoughts. These evil seeds aren’t yours just because they come to mind; they become yours when you allow those thoughts to move in and rearrange furniture! An evil thought will rearrange your goals, your dreams, and your ambitions (that is a very powerful house guest). A thought left to ramble in your mind will attach itself to an incident in your past. It will begin to feed on that incident and grow like a tick that attaches itself to your body while you walk through a forest. That thing isn’t a part of your body, but it begins by attaching itself to the body and then drains strength from it.
These evil thoughts impede progress and destroy morals. They are as dangerous as the act of sin itself. Thoughts are previews of coming attractions. That is why Jesus gave us some strong teachings about lust. He knew that if an evil thought is not aborted, if it is savored long enough, it will be acted upon!…
You must quickly cast down an evil thought. “Push the remote control” before it drains away your commitment to excellence and leaves you crying in the valley of regret. The real temptation to entertain thoughts is in the privacy of the mind. Who will know what you really think? You can smile at people and never disclose your innermost thoughts.
I always laugh when I see people act as though they have conquered the battle with the mind. I’ve asked people in my services, “Which of you would be comfortable with having everything that comes to mind played on a television screen for all of your Christian friends to watch? Or which of you would like to have all our thoughts through the week played over the loudspeaker at church next Sunday?” I’m sure I don’t have to tell you, they all put their hands down. Our mind is a private battleground that can easily become a secret place for contamination, lust, fear, low self-esteem, and God only knows what else!

Soooo many kinds of evil thoughts! Many years ago I prayed for discernment to help others mainly. He gave me discernment about myself and my thoughts. I never knew how incredibly many wrong unhelpful thoughts come in our minds. The battle for God’s peace and for growing in Him, getting to know Him more, surely has better and quicker victory when we discern them quickly. In Him, Evangeline.

I EXPERIENCED THIS AND IT IS TRUE!
A coulple of n years ago I almost had abourtion because of my thoughts. I thought the Lord understands. WRONG WRONG WRONG !! I even thought the lord would send a angel or somebody in my path if he didnt want me to do it but one day I was on my way t abortion clinic saying to myself why hasnt a little ole lady stopped me ? where is a angel, somebody please stop me ! But the next thing I knew I was in a clinic filling out papers thinking this must be okay.WRONG WRONG WRONG!!!
The place felt cold and different types of people were in there . Peple with money, women in bad relatonship, women with careers people with no money .
I even called mother hopeing she would say dont do it but she didnt she only said I dont know what you are going to do. I hung up phone .
There was this lady in room who said she was getting one because of her and husbands career and already had kids. But SHE looked at me and said” You dont have to do this today.”
THANK GOD! That made sense . I left and when I walked out that door I knew keeping the baby!( I was in Bad relationship)
I wondered why I went so far but I believe it will help somebody else not to make a mistake .
It was all because of a thought!
I know the devil wanted me to and I believe that . the devil comes to steel kill and destroy!
And what a way to do it through Gods Holy ones!
How that must hurt the Lord.
Please pay attention to your thoughts. The next day I felt a mess I would have been messed up if I did it and nobody would have been there for me.
I had my baby girl and she is beautiful and so sweet !
Look at how my thought almost caused lots of pain.
I even went to my preacher and told him I was going to get a abortion he told me no you still have a future.
I THOUGHt its okay the Lord unerstands ,the preacher didnt.
BUT I WAS WRONG WRONG WRONG!!!
THe Preacher knew I had a future.
PRAISE THE LORD!!
MY BABY WS BORN !! I HOPE I CAN HELP STOP OTHERS !!

Yes, the mind is the thing we fight for, it has never been the material things, position or accolades it has always been the mind. It’s amazing the moment we take our thoughts off self protection Satan finds a way through our armor, or is it that we put our shields down, forgetting we’re in a battle….. Bless you for the good word
Tell it like it is. A friend of mine found out her husband cheated on her and she is really hurt badly by this act. All she thinks about is her husband sleeping with this woman. satan uses what ever circumstances we go through to imprison our minds. This is when we have put the blood of Jesus against Satan and focus on the good things that the lord has said and given. All things that are pure, of good report, and edifying we should focus on these things. It is a battle of the mind and satan hold nothing back. But in all things , we must remember that GOD IS ABLE!! Thank you for your inspiration through Jesus Christ.
This is nothing but the truth that cant be purchased with money, either from the Fiestas or Walmarts. Hope my friends in the Lord will buy it. Its costless! Its free of charge! Its my prayer that we will not just read it once and let it go. If its possible, i will advice that we read it over and over again or better still, print it out. As a matter of fact, i need to act on it!

Yes indeed! Wrong thoughts can get so familiar and comfortable in the mind that one really needs to set aside time before the thought takes root and focus on the things of the spirit but unfortunately sometimes the thoughts have been harbored for far too long and have become etched into our subconcious because we procrastinate and miss the moment of escape. Unfortunatley, the ensuing actions or behavior have regretable consequences! Praise be to God; He is more than able to strengthen us if would just reach for HIM! When we are weak then is He Strong!!! That is so very true papa about that quiet battle. That battle can destroy your very well being and your inner soul. God has also delivered me from battle, something that I struggled with for 12 years. Yes your smiling,laughing,joking but nobody knew the battle that I was going through. Fighting to stay sane. It’s like a crack head, addicted to thoughts. One day your low one day your high. But it took JESUS to deliver me and staying in the church. STAYING IN HIS WORD. gOD HASN’T GIVEN US THE SPIRIT OF FEAR, BUT LOVE,PEACE POWER AND SOUND MIND. i READ THAT SCRIPTURE DAILY, UNTIL i GOT MY DELIVERANCE. i THOUGHT I COULD NEVER BE DELIVERED, i THOUGHT ONCE AN ADDICT ALWAYS AN ADDICT (MIND). bUT TO GOD BE THE GLORY. i THOUGHT THAT i COULD NEVER TALK ABOUT THIS. bECAUSE i WAS ASHAMED,EMBARRASSED. bUT DIDN’T KNOW i WASN’T ALONE. aLOT OF PEOPLE WERE FIGHTING THAT SAME QUIET BATTLE. bUT DIFFER QUIET BATTLES. hEY! glory be to JESUS. But i’m here to tell my story so it could help someone else, Now I,I,I,I,I,know that jesus wins every BATTLE. Even the quiet ones (THe MIND)!

One thought can change everything. It only takes one evil thought, acted upon, that could cause you to live the rest of your life in jail or in hell. Whether it is spiritual or natural. So casting down thoughts is the first part of defense as it relates to protecting your mind and your natural life. For if you do not protect your mind, your mind can not protect you! And you will eventually act on the majority of the thoughts you do not cast down. And if you choose not to examine your thoughts, and if those thoughts are evil thoughts, and you choose not to cast them down, it can become a long lasting, life changing experience for you. Just something to keep in mind. Thanks for the discussion.
